Saddle Pal Custom Small Guitar

Saddle Pal

Ziricote Italian Alpine Spruce

The Saddle Pal is Lame Horse's oldest and most beloved model, unchanged since 1999. They describe this Saddle Pal as "a small guitar with a 13-inch bass body and 12 frets that simply doesn't know it's small." Thanks to a sound port, and multiple soundholes with a richly abalone-adorned ebony panel, it produces ample volume, allowing you to hear every nuance of your playing. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-sounding fingerstyle guitar than this Saddle Pal.

In terms of materials and subtle details, this Lame Horse is hard to beat. The back and sides are crafted from Yucatán Ziricote, complemented by a top made of extremely resonant torrified Italian Alpine spruce from the Abies Project. The guitar is lightweight, making it exceptionally articulate and responsive. Despite its relatively compact size, it boasts ample bass, while also delivering a beautifully defined treble.

The guitar is also captivatingly decorated both inside and out; you can't help but stare at this Saddle Pal! The back and sides, top, and neck are adorned with abalone supplied by the Duke of Pearl. The interior of the back and sides offers an unparalleled visual spectacle; the photos speak for themselves! This beautiful guitar travels with a TFOA passport in a Marco Magi hardshell case.
